OLYMPIA WAREHOUSING FACILITIES GROW AGAIN!

We are pleased to announce that we have recently entered into a lease for a state-of-the-art warehouse located in the Vaughan Industrial Park, Vaughan, Ontario. The size of this building is 1.1 million square feet. As of October 2010, we will occupy 300,000 square feet and in March 2011 a further 400,000 square feet for a total of 700,000 square feet. WE have options on the balance of the building.
The acquisition of this additional warehouse is necessary because of our growing quantity of inventory and range of products we carry.

OLYMPIA TILE, in their continuing efforts to 'reduce, reuse, recycle' has very recently replaced the vast lighting system in the showroom of their Montreal Branch. This new energy efficient lighting system will greatly reduce the building's electrical consumption.

At this year's Annual General Meeting of BILD (The Building Industry and Land Development Association) Associate Awards were awarded to recognize companies who are highly rated within and by the building industry itself. 2009 is the second year that Olympia Tile & Stone has won the honour of Manufacturer/Supplier of the Year (first won in 2006). Olympia Tile is the only company to have won this award more than once.

IIDEX / NeoCon Exhibition

Olympia Tile recently participated in the 24th annual IIDEX / NeoCon Exhibition held in Toronto, Ontario on September 24th and 25th, 2008. IIDEX / NeoCon is the nation's largest and most comprehensive exposition and conference for the design, construction and management of the built environment. The show now boasts an attendance of over 15,000 interior designers, architects, facility managers, business executives, developers, manufacturers and other individuals.
At this year's exhibition, the ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario) Awards resulted in an Olympia Tile Sales Representative winning the award for "Sales Professional of the Year". In nominating for this Award, Design firms considered all manufacturer and distributor representatives who call upon them.
New Warehouse

In April, 2008 Olympia Tile took possession of an additional 243,000 square foot warehouse, with 19 shipping doors, bringing our total warehouse space to in excess of 3.5 million square feet.
